Mike Sawyer State Farm is seeking a Customer Service Representative who excels in client care while supporting agency growth through retention and in-book sales.

This is a licensed position (Property & Casualty and Life & Health required). If you’re not currently licensed, you must be willing to obtain both licenses—our agency provides full support and paid training.

Role Overview
As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll be the friendly and reliable contact customers count on. You’ll assist with policy changes, answer service questions, and offer clear guidance on coverage. You’ll also identify opportunities within our existing book of business to cross-sell or enhance policies—ensuring every customer has the right protection for their evolving needs.

This role is perfect for someone who is service-oriented, detail-driven, and confident initiating consultative product conversations.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver Exceptional Service
• Respond to client inquiries with professionalism, accuracy, and care.

Retain & Grow Accounts
• Conduct policy reviews and identify opportunities to strengthen coverage or recommend additional products.

Handle Daily Servicing Needs
• Manage policy updates, billing questions, documentation, and claims follow-ups.

Maintain Accurate Records
• Keep detailed customer notes and ensure all follow-ups are completed in a timely manner.

Collaborate with the Team
• Work closely with colleagues to support smooth operations, great service, and agency growth outcomes.

Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong customer-service mindset with the ability to discuss product solutions
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities at once
  • Prior customer service, insurance, or office experience preferred
  • Licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health, or willingness to obtain with agency support
