Mike Sawyer State Farm is seeking a Customer Service Representative who excels in client care while contributing to agency growth through in-book sales and retention efforts.

This is a fully licensed position (Property & Casualty and Life & Health required). Candidates who are not currently licensed must be willing to obtain their licenses, with full support and paid training provided by the agency.

Role Overview

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the friendly, dependable point of contact for our valued clients. You’ll assist customers with policy changes, handle service inquiries, and provide coverage guidance. You’ll also identify opportunities within our existing book of business to cross-sell or upgrade policies, ensuring that every customer has the right protection for their needs.

This position is ideal for someone who is service-oriented, detail-driven, and comfortable engaging in consultative product conversations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding service by responding to client inquiries with professionalism, accuracy, and care.

  • Retain and grow accounts by conducting policy reviews and identifying opportunities to enhance coverage or bundle additional products.

  • Handle policy servicing including updates, billing questions, and claims follow-ups.

  • Maintain accurate customer records and ensure timely follow-up on open items.

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth customer experience and support agency growth initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Customer service mindset with the ability to engage in product conversations

  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities

  • Previous customer service, insurance, or office experience preferred

  • Licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health, or willingness to obtain with agency support
