Are you passionate about helping people and creating meaningful customer experiences—while also motivated by the opportunity to grow through sales? Mike Sawyer State Farm is looking for a Customer Relations Representative who can deliver exceptional service to our existing clients and identify opportunities to strengthen their protection through additional insurance products.

This is a fully licensed position (Property & Casualty and Life & Health required). If you are not currently licensed, you must be willing to obtain your licenses—with full agency support and paid training.

Role Overview

As a Customer Relations Representative, you will be the first point of contact for many of our valued customers. You’ll build relationships, resolve issues, and ensure every client feels supported. In addition to handling service requests and policy maintenance, you’ll have the opportunity to engage in in-book sales conversations—educating clients on products that enhance their coverage and strengthen their financial security.

This position is ideal for someone who is empathetic, organized, and relationship-driven, with the confidence to initiate product conversations and contribute to agency growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Exceptional Service – Handle client inquiries, policy updates, and billing questions with care, professionalism, and accuracy.

  • Retain & Strengthen Relationships – Conduct periodic policy reviews to ensure clients are properly protected and satisfied.

  • Drive In-Book Sales – Identify and present additional coverage options within existing customer accounts to meet evolving needs.

  • Support Agency Operations – Process policy changes, follow up on claims, and maintain detailed customer records.

  • Collaborate for Success – Partner with team members to achieve retention and growth goals.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.

  • Genuine desire to help others paired with a proactive, sales-aware mindset.

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.

  • Previous customer service, insurance, or sales experience preferred.

  • Licensed in Property & Casualty and Life & Health, or willingness to obtain with agency support.

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
